The Pay Office Cottage offers one queen size bed with an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette facilities with a convection microwave, air conditioning, and a lounge area with a slow combustion fireplace - perfect for a romantic getaway for two! The cottage was built in the 1850s from local slate and was originally used as the pay office for the local slate quarry, which was owned by Thompson Priest, who also built and lived in Thompson's Residence.
Generous cooked and continental breakfast provisions will be waiting in your room upon arrival including bread, bacon, eggs, fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, cereals, milk, Nespresso coffee machine with pods (feel free to bring along your favourites!) and tea. Firewood is included (winter months only) along with a complimentary bottle of Reillys wine.
Minimum 2 nights stay.
Staff are on-site at our Cellar Door from 11am to 5pm most days, so please pop in and say hello during your visit and let us know if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!
