Thompson's Residence offers accommodation for up to 6 people and features three double bedrooms (Two Queen beds and one double bed) plus a double sofa bed in the rear lounge room. It has a fully equipped country-style kitchen with a convection microwave and two lounge areas providing plenty of space for everyone. Newly renovated bathroom with clawfoot bathtub. With air conditioning in the large sunroom and combustion fireplaces in both lounge rooms, Thompsons's Residence is perfect all year round! This house was built in the 1850s by Thompson Priest who managed the local slate quarry in Mintaro. He built both Thompson's Residence and Pay Office Cottage using local slate and lived in Thompson's Residence while managing the quarry until the mid-1880s.
Generous cooked and continental breakfast provisions will be waiting in your room upon arrival including bread, bacon, eggs, fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, cereals, milk, Nespresso coffee machine with pods (feel free to bring along your favourites!) and tea. Firewood is included (winter months only) along with a complimentary bottle of Reillys wine.
Minimum 2 nights stay.
